Dhol Loops from the Caucasus is a collection of Dhol, Davul, Tombak, and Zarb loops centered on the sonic identity of southern caucus countries of Armenia, Iran, Georgia, and Azerbaijan. Included in this collection are instruments such as the Dhol – a large cylindrical drum with two skin heads, Davul – a large double-headed drum that is played with mallets, and Zarb (Tombak) – a goblet drum with one head. The performances included in the library span the common 4/4, 6/8, and 3/4 rhythms of the region in Apple Loop formats. I absolutely love the fact that this software makes it so easy to play Arab scales. But even beyond that, the quality of the sample libraries is outstanding, so even if you stick with Western temperament, the sounds are so great that they’re perfectly usable for all of your professional applications.

The SOLO + Microtoner bundle was a no-brainer for me. In addition to the incredible sounds of SOLO, I can instantly re-tune the rest of my studio to match whatever scale I’m using on SOLO. Microtoner works with hardware MIDI synths and samplers as easily as it does with software plug-ins.
I’ve wished for something like this for years, so having SOLO + Microtoner is a dream come true.
Also, just for the record, there are many, many scales available in the software, it isn’t just “Arab” scales 😉

Definitely got ish sounding differently and added a whole lotta spice 2 my instrument library use chord player and get cinematic with it buy far 1 of the best I’ve purchased in a minute 2…..
But I’d definitely like more instruments and personalized skins for a feel of your own but all and all this ish 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

There’s no such a thing elsewhere. the Bundle microtones + SOLO is outstanding I love it… Microtonal music is somehow the next thing when it comes to music as this is so interesting and refreshing… because we to so use to I guess. All works perfectly and all those scale are crazy. if you want to travel and experiment ! this is an absolute piece of softwares to get 😉

Fantastic! I have been looking for a simple, quick method of changing tunings which lead me to MicroToner however after hearing SOLO, I decided to get them both. Big thanks to TAQS.IM for creating these wonderful products! BTW… I am successfully running these on both my Windows desktop and Mac laptop. No issues whatsoever!
